Verse 12-9

अथ चित्तं समाधातुं न शक्नोषि मयि स्थिरम् |

अभ्यासयोगेन ततो मामिच्छाप्तुं धनञ्जय || 9 ||

“Now, if you are unable to keep your mind fixed on Me steadily, then seek to attain Me through the practice of devotion, O Arjuna”

Commentary: Lord Krishna addresses Arjuna and emphasizes the importance of Bhakti Yoga. He acknowledges that it may be challenging for Arjuna to keep his mind steadfastly absorbed in divine contemplation. Therefore, Lord Krishna advises him to engage in the practice of devotion to attain Him.

By cultivating a sincere longing to attain the divine and engaging in regular spiritual practices, Arjuna can overcome the fluctuations of the mind and progress on the path of spiritual realization. Lord Krishna encourages him to persevere and express his earnest desire to attain the divine presence.
